YTB – Your Travel Business

Many businesses have caught up with the work from home industry. It is an economical way of hiring people to do your work without the high overhead expenses and the huge marketing costs. It also offers companies an opportunity to have people who may even use their products sell them for a living. The $7 trillion travel industry which has an incidence of high overheads, advertising and marketing expenses is in no way different. Any person can join an YTB program either as a marketing representative (REP) or a referring travel agent (RTA). While a referring travel agent is required to pay a membership fee of $500 and a monthly recurring charge of $49.95, the marketing representative has no such obligations. The choice of the type of membership that you want to participate in depends entirely upon your choice.

A marketing representative is authorized to sell to online travel agencies, enroll referring travel agents and representatives and other marketing representative. However they are not eligible to sell travel plans to individuals. A referring travel agent on the other hand is a licensed entity paying a license fee of $49.95 per month and is allowed to sell travel plans through their web site. RTAs refer people to their sites and earn commissions on travel plans booked through them.

Team building is also a part of the business that YTB are involved in. Built around a set of rules that will help benefit every individual within the structure, the team building program has proved to be beneficial to everyone in the team. Know as the 1st Team, the Power Team and the Dream Team they have different criteria and commissions payable on each step taken forward.

REPs earn a commission of $50 on every online travel agency sale that they create directly. Once they have qualified to start their power team they earn an additional $50 on every sale that the power team makes. The list in endless. Starting from commissions on individual sales to bonuses as the team keeps growing. Other structures of commissions that can be earned are also in place making it one of the most lucrative programs around. Apart from the above commissions are in place for every person who is involved with the company and in certain cases can exceed $100,000 a month.

One of the most important factors of the YTB program is to ensure that residual commissions earned by the representatives are never held back due to reasons of market variations. It is the policy of the company to have this kind of structure in place to see that the efforts of the individual are not in any way wasted over a period of time. This again helps build market and individual confidence which is essential for every business. The customer is the king here and YTB makes sure that the customer also makes his/her future at all times without being hampered in any way.
