Marketing on the budget – where do you start?
By: PromoDonkey
I just went to Google and typed in “free internet marketing lead” – there are 12 million pages of relevant results.
But is your pipeline being filled with free internet leads as you’re reading this?
If it is, I suggest you go grab some icecream, cold drink, or whatever you enjoy doing when you don’t have much to do, shut your computer down and take the rest of the day off. You’re doing what 95% of network marketers can’t do – and that is to generate leads, much less leads at no cost.
But if you’re not there yet, where do you start? If those 12 million pages on Google did not help you what will?
Maybe nothing, maybe as you read this article you’re already overwhelmed. Well, it’s not that hard. It’s complex, but not that hard. And it takes time…and a little bit of an effort on your part. Whether to do it yourself or finding someone to outsource it.
I get asked all the time: There is so many ways to generate free leads, which strategy is the best?
My answer is always the same: they are all good.
i.e.:If you hate making videos and are obviously uncomfortable doing it, not ready to “get over it” than no matter how great videos are, it won’t yield great results for YOU.
Now, that we got that question out the way let’s look at your options – in no particular order:
1) Videos –
2) articles - posted to other sites
3) blog – articles posted to your site
4) Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc
5) Ezines
6) Classifieds
7) List builders
8) PPC – yes it can be at no cost to you
9) Forums
That should give you good number of choices.
They all work. But for now, pick one, maybe two at most, you feel comfortable and feel like you would enjoy doing – for the beginning. As you get going and start getting results with those, then start adding more sources from the list above if you so choose.
As I said, they all work but they all require work as well. One or 2 (posts, mailing, conversations, friends, etc) or possibly not even 10 will bring you many results. Lot more needs to happen prior to some noticeable results.
Also, I would suggest you don’t start with PPC at first – you have to have foundation built for it to become “no cost”. That is advanced form of marketing.
Other than that, it really does not matter where you start as long as you start somewhere and not wait till you get “good” and “more familiar” before you move finger.
Get going! See you at the top.

5 Things You Must Know When Purchasing Domains
By: PromoDonkey
What’s a “Domain”? Why do You Need it? And What Kind Should You Get?
5 Things You Must Know When Purchasing Domains
There are many places that offer domains, but there are also many questions you must know the answer to prior to getting one, or more… =)
Even though they are only $8-10-15, these things add up too fast and will impact your marketing budget – WHY? Put the money where it will make you money, is my motto.
So, here we go:
1) What’s a domain?
Here is what Webopedia.com has to say about domain:
A name that identifies one or more IP addresses. For example, the domain name microsoft.com represents about a dozen IP addresses. Domain names are used in URLs to identify particular Web pages.
I.e. in the URL http://www.UltimateLeadsToday.com ‘UltimateLeadsToday’ is a domain; and in http://url.UltimateLeadsToday.com ‘url’ is a subdomain.
2) Why do you need it?
• One of the most important reasons for getting your own domain name that will identify you and only you is a significant part of self-branding which I explain and I talk a lot about in rest of my marketing material.
• In the numerous split-testing, it’s been uncovered that a huge chunk of affiliates lose their affiliate commissions due to leads taking affiliate links out and going straight to the source.
Have you ever seen a link looking like this:
http://www.thisisabadidea.com/member/3638898
Don’t ask me why, but people are stinkers sometimes and will take the /member/3638898 part off and go directly to the main company site. As an affiliate, you lose that commission – don’t want that!
3) What kind should you get?
The mother of all domain websites is GoDaddy.com.
Now, once you’re reached GoDaddy.com you will notice that there are domains with many different suffixes like:
.com, .mobi, .us, .me, .gov, .edu, .org, .net, .ca and so on.
That statistic have shown over and over again, that nothing looks as professional and yields the results as .com. So for now, pick a .com domain name and forget about everything else, until you get to the point of building a library of domain names (more about that later).
You will also notice that there are bunch of different upgrades you can add to your domain name. For someone just starting out, it’s not necessary to pick anything else except for the .com domain itself.
On the other hand, if you if you’ve been in the business for a while and you have figured out what structure of domains works for you and your business, then you can venture out in buying domain names with extra words in it, with same domain name but different extension, you can opt for some additional features, like privacy and so on.
4) So now what?
Once you have established the domain structure you want to follow, it is imperative to take the steps which will protect your internet real estate – your websites - from being funneled for leads to your competitor because they might be using a similar domain name i.e. if your website that you invested lot of money and time in is sitting at : http://www.widgets.com do you really want your competitor to have http://www.widgets.net?
Did not think so.
5) If all else fails
If you still have any questions about this GoDaddy.com has a great support team, don’t hesitate to call them.

Are you generating leads?
By: PromoDonkey
Are you generating leads?
Are you generating enough of the good leads?
Are those leads converting into sales?
STOP right here if you answered YES to all these 3 questions. You don’t need to read this any further. Go turn your favorite TV show on, grab you favorite healthy drink, kick back and start counting your blessings.
But for the rest of those who make up 95% of network marketers it’s a different story. The history tells us that 95% of all internet marketers fail. One of the biggest reasons is not enough leads. So in desperate attempts to generate leads, they blow their budget before they get a chance to see the money come in.
So HOW and WHY does that happen, and WHAT to do to avoid it?
There are so many different ways today to get leads on the internet. You can choose from what fits your fancy, like: articles, blogs, Twitter, YouTube, Pay-Per-Click, Facebook, eZines, SEO for organic placements, and few other ones.
But be warned that all those things are tools to help you generate leads, and the truth is they will NOT work if you are not positioned correctly.
Positioned correctly? What is that? What does it look like?
I used to think that if I just mastered one of these I was set. Not so. Positioning is more that just knowing how to use one tool.
• It’s knowing how to position yourself as a leader even though you may not be making 10K a month yet – (hint: we all started at 0.00)
• It’s knowing the difference between a company replicated site and You, Inc.
• It’s knowing how to write articles, how to connect on social sites, how to create videos and get people to trust you and follow you all the way to the bank
• It’s knowing how to profit from 97% who will never join your opportunity
• It’s knowing how to have those 97% fund your marketing efforts – forever
• It’s knowing how to connect Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Blog to generate good leads
• It’s about knowing how NOT to sell your opportunity too soon
• It’s knowing how to create a right mindset so you don’t give up too soon
• It’s knowing where and how to communicate with super marketers to get their real secrets
• It’s knowing secret Pay-Per-Click strategies that keep Master Marketers on page #1 of Google while paying less per click than the rest
So what if you could get your hands on all that? All the tools and all the strategies on how to beat the competition and dominate the internet… What if you could talk to Master Marketers and ask them any question you have and actually get an answer?
What if you could do all that, for $1? Would you do it? With all due respect, you’d be crazy not to.
Here is what I mean:

Top 10 Cardinal Sins of Twittering
By: PromoDonkey
Sin #1: Protected Updates
Twitter is social network. I am not sure that it could be more social than it already is. Yes, you have every right to protect your updates but that is like going to a party and closing yourself off in one room with only few of your closest friend. That might seem pretty comfortable and low risk, but what if in the next room with all the other people chatting is a love of your life, or a person that ends up signing up 120 reps in the 30 days that follow. Unless you’re truly not on there to socialize – open your doors to the world and yes, socialize!
Sin #2: No Pic
It does not matter if you’re blond or brunette, short or tall, big or small, pretty or not so pretty – in your head, what matters is that you’re real. Networking is a relationship business. No one likes to have a relationship with a picture of a shadow. People are looking for people they can connect with, that they can find commonalities with. In my talks with super-marketers I’ve heard many times over and over: they don’t even bother following people who don’t have a pic uploaded. Don’t miss out on the relationships that could potentially change your life – show yourself off!
Sin # 3: No Bio
Uuu…this is a good one. The bio is like your opening line when you meat someone. It needs to have a bit of a punch at first and end with something down to earth. For example: it should start of with something that makes you unique, that makes you stand out, that shows you off as a leader and a success in your arena, a bit of a superstardom. The last part needs to be something that shows that even though you are superstar in what you do, you’re still human, just like peeps looking at your profile. You put the pants on one leg at the time, just like they do. You’re approachable and just a tweet away.
Sin # 4: No Updates
Twitter is very much ‘pay-it-forward’ type of a deal. You have to engage in conversations, you have to contribute to the twitter audience, and you have to respond to those who seek you out. Again, it’s a social place. You have to be social. When someone is looking at your profile if they see no updates, chances are they will not follow you, at least not with an interest. You have to be proactive, you have to be involved.
Sin #5: Wrong Type of Updates
I have visited many, many Twitter profile pages where a person has a page after page: thank you, thank you for the follow, I’m following you too, thank you, thank you, thank you – it’s nice to be polite but those message should be mostly done via Direct Message. So that your updates can stay clean of ‘meaningless’ chatter. Your updates need to provide value, they need to be amusing, they need to be fun, they need to be current – to include things that people are interested in but have not heard it yet anywhere else. If you can be the one to give them what they cannot find elsewhere, you will be their go-to person. You will be a leader in their eyes. Go ahead – update the world!
Sin #6: Spending Too Much Time on Twitter
This one maybe great for Twitter, but not so great for your business overall. Twittering has shown to be truly addictive. It can take hours and hours of your time, make it very interesting for you, but keep in mind. Your time needs to be spent on the things are giving you’re the most number of leads. If that is not Twitter for you, schedule time to be on there, and when the time is up – LEAVE and go work on what does make you money NOW.
Sin# 7: Follow People Back
Have you ever looked at the profile and saw 10 times more followers than the number of those they follow? Now it might be great for a little while, but after that when people stop by your profile and are checking you out to see if you’re worth following, they might opt not do to that if they get an impression you will not follow them back. Especially if your updates do not reveal anything radically interesting.
Sin #8: Keep the Ratio in Tact
Speaking of follower and those you follow. At some point you will have to keep an eye on the numbers. If you want to follow 1500 people, create updates once a week and you have only 17 followers, Twitter will not like that. It will think you’re spamming people which you probably are. When starting off, first 30 days or so add about 50 people a day. After a few days unfollow those who are not following you. After you have reached 1200 follower and your account is over 30 days old, you can venture in adding 75-125 or so new people to your follow list. After you reach 2000 you will get blocked by Twitter if you’re not keeping the ratio lower than 10% between those you follow and those who are following you. So if you’re being followed by 2000 peeps, you might be able to go to 2200 that you follow. Make sure also that your number of updates is proportionate with your follower/followee ratio.
Sin #9: Quantity vs. Quality
No, it’s not all in numbers – when it comes to Twitter. There is a big difference in $$ collected between having a 10,000 person “list” of people who have no earthly idea what you do, no understanding or interest whatsoever in what you do and having a list of 1500 quality people, who appreciate what you do, have interest in it and desire to partner with you to achieve more. Spending hours chatting with 10,000 people who don’t care a bit about your business or you, vs. spending few hours of quality conversations with 1500 people who are ready to whip out a credit card and follow your advice. I prefer the second scenario, you?
Sin #10: THOU SHALL NOT SPAM/PUKE
The ultimate sin of all sins, we all talk about it, it gets mentioned million times a day, yet, hundreds of people daily will try to spam and puke on their cyber pals. You would not walk into a party and started yelling into peep’s faces to go check out your link to the best business opportunity in the world. The same principal applies in social media as well. Social media is a place to meet people, to start up conversations with people you ordinarily would not have a chance to speak to, spark up some interest in mutually beneficial relationship on personal or business level and from there lead people to your sales funnel (blog, landing page, Facebook, etc – IF they are interested in following you). Twitter is not a place to sell, it’s a place to create reason for people to want to know more about you and what you do.
Now, if you’re a rock-star, and we have few of those too on Twitter, you don’t have to follow any of these rules. People just naturally flock to you based on your previously created image. For us regular mortals, avoiding these 10 sins can make a difference of life and death on twitter. Long live the TwitterLand!

Press Release – FHTM
By: PromoDonkey
By the mid 1990’s Paul Orberson has achieved what most of us can only dream of. He has made $1 million dollars a month for 22 consecutive months. At his peak, Paul was sponsoring between 50-55,000 yes, thousand, reps a month in his downline deserving what would follow him for years to come: a title of best network marketer who earned the most money in the shortest amount of time in the history of the industry.
Paul did well, and as most us would do after that, he retired.
He spent next 4 years enjoying the life and the fruits of his hard work. But after a while, Paul felt a strong need to give back to the industry that had given him so much. So in 2001 he created a company that representatives could use to achieve the success.
This company is FHTM Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing. The company has been 100% private and debt free since the first day and according to Paul will stay that way.
This company is one of a kind in a sense that is built not for the purpose of accumulated the profit but for the purpose of giving regular, everyday people a fair chance to succeed.
The premise of the structure is that Fortune 500 companies like GE, TMobile, Verizon, Citibank, Dish Network, AT&T and so on spend millions of dollars a year on their marketing hoping to attract more new customers. Fortune brings loyal customers to these companies so in turn part of their yearly marketing budget is routed to Fortune and pass down to Fortune Reps.
Fortune Reps get paid every month for service they already use in their daily lives: watching TV, talking on the phone, purchasing vitamins, skin care, etc. They get paid month after month, for as long as they use the services, while also getting paid on the unlimited number of customer usage within their downline.
FHTM Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing has one of a kind payplan that keeps rewarding its representatives more and more with time for essentially doing the same work. The company has had 32 pay increases in the last 7 years of operation.
The company is also known for its integrity and loyalty to the representatives. When Louisville KY found itself under a terrible winter storm, the company hired all-terrain vehicles which picked up employees from their homes and safely transported them to the corporate office in order for commission checks to be sent out on time to the representatives. Something you don’t hear every day.

4 Network Marketing Mistakes You Should Avoid This Year
By: PromoDonkey
1. Thinking that your top 3 people will always be your top 3 people.
Sooner or later you will get to the point that you will have probably some 3 people that are your top producers. You will find yourself spending most of your time with and consequently it will be where you will pour most of your efforts in. However, life happens. Your top produces may get ‘tired’ and quit, they may think the grass is greener in a different NM company…things will happen and you will turn around one day and they won’t be there. You can’t chain them to your downline, nor realistically should you. What you can do is to be prepared. Be prepared mentally that you will lose them at some point, and be prepared strategically by always recruiting the next three superstars.
2. Quitting too soon
This business, as many others as well, experiences 95% attrition rate. That means that out of 100 people 95 will quit for one reason or another. But you, YOU need to stay in the game. Don’t worry about the people that quit. Because all you need to do is stay in the game long enough to see the success. All you need to do is 5% more than all the rest. If you quit, you will fail for sure. If you stubbornly stay – you will reach the success line.
3. Giving Freebies
We all have that broke-brother-in-law, 3rd cousin, or a great friend who we know could benefit from this business and we would do anything to help them get started. But the problem is they wouldn’t do much for themselves. So we tend to perform ‘charity work’ by sponsoring people ourselves and putting them in their downline. The problem with that is is that we’re awarding the wrong behavior, our free work gets to be expected, we work our fingers off, but all we usually get in the end is big disappointment.
4. Babysitting
Another big mistake I see a lot of people in the business are making is literally babysitting their team members. You have to understand that not everybody you sign up will work that business. For the life of me, I will never quite understand it, but people sign up for the strangest reasons. Least of all is to really create something out of it. If you have to call them every morning to motivate them to get up, to pump them up for every call, to push them to attend the meetings and conferences – it ain’t worth it – as they would say here in good ole Texas. If the money is not to motivate them, you’re out of luck.

Attraction Marketing and Sponsoring
By: PromoDonkey
There is a lot of buzz on the street lately about ‘Attraction Marketing’. There is also a huge lack of truly understanding it.
Here is what I’m talking about:
Attraction Marketing is about ‘attracting’ people to you. Creating the environment in which people see you as a leader, as a credible person, who they can trust, who they can connect with, and who they like and would like to work with.
Now let me level with you on something:
I get about 80-100 messages every day from people I do not know and I never gave permission to; about their opportunity that I’m not even looking for, that they want me to join, for reasons they think are valid…it’s out right ridiculous. You know what happens with all those emails? I delete them before I even open them.
You know what else? All the network marketers I spoke to about it, do the same thing: they delete them before they even read them.
Attraction marketing is based on relationships. The ‘attraction’ part is what makes it work.
I have people all day long, every day, leaving me messages on my sites pitching the opportunity I am already part of.
How do YOU know I need it? How do YOU know I don’t already have it?
Let’s examine that for a moment. That means that they NEVER bothered to get interested in ME. To see what I am all about. What am I involved in? How would their opportunity make my life better? What do I need help with? Why would I as a prospect want to have anything to do with them?
That would be like doctor making house calls and pitching ALL the people the SAME medicine, regardless if they are sick or not, and if they have allergic reaction to it or not!!!!
Imagine that circus???
Well that is what is happening in internet marketing with thousands and thousands of people. There is an industry term for it: they call it “puking” and trust me it’s not a label you want to earn.
When you show up at the party, you can’t jump up on a table and start screaming: I have the best home business opportunity and you all need to sign up right now. Get in the line…blah…blah…blah…They will throw you out.
Same applies with internet marketing.
You have to create relationships before you can sell people things, or your organization will never prosper.
Relationship, relationships, relationships.
You have to build the YOU, inc. You have to create the credibility, you have to get people to like you and trust you. Only than you can be successful in this business. For that matter…in any business….
You have to represent a value to your prospect; otherwise they will NOT have a compelling need to sign up with you.
This week’s tip: instead of blindly and in a hurry trying to throw mud out there to see if any of it will stick, take interest in your prospects, the people you meet. Try to find out where in the business cycle they are. What would help them get to the next level? And than and only than if you see a fit between your opportunity and your prospects needs than you introduce it to them.
If you can make a true difference in other people’s lives, you will not have any problems enjoying the huge profits from it.

How to Make Money with Pages like Squidoo, HubPages, Mylot.com, etc.?
By: PromoDonkey
Mention this to someone who’s ‘tried’ these sites and they will tell you that if you’re thinking you can sell something off those pages you’re wasting your time.
Well…In sense they might be right, but that is not what these pages are used for by the top internet marketers. There is a secret to it.
If you know anything about real estate you know that the rule #1 is Location, Location, Location.
Well, Squidoo, HubPages and several other ones like those ARE PRIME real estate locations on Web 2.0. (I will give you several new pieces of Web 2.0 real estate that most of the new internet marketing don’t know about them yet, but keep reading…)
These pages are NOT the places to sell your product and collect money off of it. They make you money indirectly.
Top marketers use these prime Web 2.0 locations as traffic generators. Those are usually review or article type of written or video posts. If you decide to do them, make sure they have valuable content for your readers.
From there they are directed to their blogs, squeeze pages and whatever else might be used to begin the sales funnel. That’s where leads get sold - along the way.
Because they rank many times higher than YouTube, they are becoming one of the most coveted Web 2.0 tools of top network marketers. Imagine having several of these traffic generating locations on page #1 of Google??? Keep in mind – they are FREE.
As promised earlier in this article, here are some of the newest places to stake your grounds:
www.Scribd.com
www.Mylot.com
www.Learnhub.com
www.CollageHumor.com
www.JamBase.com
www.MisterPoll.com
www.LiveVideo.com
www.ThreadLess.com
As the web evolves, and it does daily, you will need to make sure your lead generating efforts are still on prime locations. So next time you want to post your blog or a video, choose the location wisely.

The Myth of Self-Employed and a Business Owner
By: PromoDonkey
If you have not had a chance to read Kiyosaki’s books, I suggest you start yesterday. In “Why We Want You to Be Rich” Kiyosaki and Trump reveal the incredible peace of fact. They both say that if they were starting in business today from the beginning, they would be starting in network marketing.
Now that is an incredible statement. The book reveals many things that are critical to success in business and financial arena, but one of the most famous things from that book is Kiyosaki’s CashFlow Quadrant.
See the image above.
The CashFlow Quadrant points out little known but important difference between being ‘self-employed’ and being a ‘business owner’.
If you own your own business, but YOU have to go to work every day, because you are the one making sales, and you are the one with the specialized knowledge, and if you don’t show up that day and do your thing, the money will stop pouring in, than, my friend, you don’t really own the business. The business owns you.
On the other hand, if you own the business which is set up on systems which may or may not include workforce of some kind, and you can actually not show up to work and the work would not miss a beat. The people are still being serviced, the deals are still being closed, the money is still being deposited into your bank account…That is the sound of a well run oiled machine. And you are a true business owner.
Now it is important to make a note that when you’re starting out in a business, it is natural to be ‘owned’ by your business. Two immediate main goals should be to build the client base and be able to service the same, but the long term goal of every small business should be to get systems in place and get automated enough to be able to sustain itself without your constant presence.
Many network marketers fall pray of these marketing companies which proclaim that you can build your business and get rich off purely automated marketing system. Don’t believe it.
We can automate a lot these days with technology to leverage our time and resources, but the final success is built on strong foundation of relationships and networking. The prospects need to perceive you as a value to them and their future. The network marketing business is very much a sales business and the sales are made when people get to trust you and respect you as an expert in your field.
Some things will never change and the fact that this is still a people business won’t either.

Is MLM a Pyramid Scheme?
By: PromoDonkey
I get asked a lot and I am about to tell it to you like it is:
There are lots of schemes out there in ANY type of business. You may think it might be easier to do it online these days because you can hide behind it – but for how long?
Just like it’s easy to hide, it’s easy for anybody to post anything on the internet today good and bad, so use common sense.
So what is a pyramid scheme? Pyramid scheme per Wikipedia is:
A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, often without any product or service being delivered.
It also says:
However, most multi-level marketing businesses are not pyramid schemes.
So if we have a product and or service being exchanged for the money that floats around – it’s not illegal any more, and as far as pyramid shape…
As startling as it might be to some Pyramid is also your place of work, any company with more than 1 employee: i.e. you have a
President
CEO, VPs
Regional VPs
Reg Management
Local Management
And YOU on the bottom
At least that’s how it was when you started your career many moons ago. The biggest question is:
IF you tried hard, and worked smart, could you EVER pass up the CEO or President and make more than them?
I sincerely doubt it. Just try it! (which one looks more like a scheme now?)
The remarkable thing is that with the right MLM/Network Marketing company YOU CAN.
Yes, even if you don’t start on top, and you do the right things, you can surpass your sponsor in $$ made – now that is what I call the sweet form of capitalism.
So if you ask me, I would choose MLM pyramid (NOT pyramid scheme ;-)…) over J.O.B. pyramid ANY day or night.
See you at the top.

Social Media is changing - again. Where do we go from here?
By: PromoDonkey
OK. So when people think Social Networks/Media most people start the list in their head with MySpace, then go to Facebook, maybe Twitter and so on….the truth is MySpace was something a year ago, two years ago, maybe even a bit 6 months ago. But the social media has evolved. One more time.
Today, it’s all about Facebook and Twitter.
So what happened? And where do we go from here?
MySpace really started exploding about 2 years ago among network marketers. It was all about creating this MySpace page that would attract likeminded people. They would like what they would see in your story, your pictures etc., add you as a friend, and go on to maybe even become a lead for your business. Once you created a well structured page with good content, it was like opening a retail store: once it’s ready and opened, not much changes. You advertise, you ask other “friends” to come and visit your store (you page) and the cycle begins. Once it was all written, there were no more many things that needed to be changed, or added and so on – it was very much static.
Today’s social media is very different. Today, if you’re still on MySpace, spending a lot of time waiting for the “friends” to add you, you’re going to flat out “die” there. Social media has grown up into this versatile, completely transparent, not just two-way, but multiple-way, interactive party. You get to tell your story, who you are, and what you’re all about through live, seen-by-millions-of-people-instantaneously comments. This is the place where you have to personally network and put your best foot forward to differentiate yourself from the crowd.
Once you establish yourself as a credible “followee”, your market value will rise proportionally and the masses will follow you and your links all the way to the bank.
Happy socializing.

Top 10 Things You Must Know About Twitter
By: PromoDonkey
As you know the social media is like a fast moving train: starts off slowly, but once in motion, hard to stop it. New people are literally pouring in to join but they very easily crash and burn. Just because you are on there, it does not guarantee you results. And just because you tweet with peeps all they long, that does not guarantee you results either, yet all this eats your time like Bermuda Triangle. So how do you make sure you make your time on Twitter productive?
Easy, you just follow few proven steps:
1) In order for you to have any value to your followers, you have to give value to your followers.
2) Do not “puke” about your MLM, or whatever biz opportunity on people you just met. It does not work in real life; it does not work in your virtual life.
3) You have to have and show genuine interest in helping your peeps grow and learn, and provide content accordingly before they will be truly open minded to hearing about your business (that’s how you create value)
4) Twitter is the place where “my-story” (your-story) needs to come alive and be evident through your posts. Show the world through your interaction what your true colors are: what your interests are, what you are looking for, what your views are, what your business is like, what your true value to the marketplace is, etc.
5) Check your Updates tabs periodically and make sure that you’re providing good content. If your last 15-20 posts are “Thank you”, “Thanks for follow”, “Nice to meet you” – know you’re headed to Twitter Valley of death – alone. The followers will stop following you.
Use these tools to help you be more productive with Twitter:
6) You can use http://tr.im to shorten your links and analyze the traffic you generate
7) You can set up thank you message to be sent out automatically to all your new follower at http://www.tweetlater.com
8) Periodically you can delete those peeps who decided not to follow you at http://friendorfollow.com/. The ratio between the peeps you follow and peeps who follow you will affect your twitter rating
9) Learn who the best Twitterers are and how they do it by visiting http://twitterholic.com/
10) Use http://Ping.fm and shoot your status updates to multiple social networks at once – still same work, tens times more exposure.
Bonus:
11) Set the time limit for how long you will stay on Twitter, before you get on with your TODO list – or you may get surprised with your day gone bye-bye too fast.
Happy twittering.

THE Reason to Quit
By: PromoDonkey
I’m sure you have heard of this phrase before: Quitters Never Win, and Winners Never Quit. But what if you had a good reason to quit and what constitutes a good reason in the first place?
Well, the answer might be simpler than you think.
When you join network marketing revolution you will experience these things no matter what:
• Your family and friends, chances are, will not understand you or support you
• You will run into people you know who will very passionately tell you “IT WILL NEVER WORK”, in 37 different ways
• You will try marketing things that will flop
• Actually, 90% of your marketing will flop
• You will blow your marketing budget at some point
• You will read things, dismiss them, come back to them 6 mos later, and slapping yourself on the head go: “How come I did not see it???”
• You will browse the internet and see that someone has already started the idea you’ve been thinking of
• You will argue with you spouse or significant other because of some aspect of the biz
• You will forget to do something or about someone in your personal life
• It will affect your personal life in many ways
• At some point in time after hanging out with super gurus for a wile you will feel like they are million miles and million dollars ahead and that you will never reach them
• There are going to be days that you will feel like you’re all out of ideas
• There are going to be days when you will feel like you can’t bounce the idea you have off of anybody you know
• There is going to be A DAY when you will feel completely cornered and nowhere else to go – so you will want to quit.
That is the day to remember. Because if you’ve hit the rock bottom and there is nowhere else to go, than you my friend, make a decision to go up.
As I mentioned earlier, the answer is simpler than you think, and here it is: There is NO GOOD REASON TO QUIT. The only thing you can quit is quitting. If you quit on your dreams, you may as well pack up, go home, and hide under the rock for the rest of your days. Nice role model for your kids and grandkids...
Yes, it’s true. Some days are tougher then the rest, but the days that are good are so good that will make it all worth while and then some. And if you think about the list above from a bit different angle, most of them will show up in your life with just having a JOB as well. So why not endure the same thing anyway, put another drip of sweat into the play, and call it your empire for generations to come?

How come you promote EVERTHING and Not just stick to one proven model?
By: PromoDonkey
This is today’s questions from one of our loyal fellow readers, and the answer below contains some of the most valuable secrets I have ever revealed:
“Hi Aleks,
How come you promote EVERYTHING and not just stick to one proven model?
Jan”
First: that’s an excellent question. I have to command you for taking a leadership role and being proactive - trying to truly understand this easy yet so complex business.
I am in the business of network marketing which means I make money MARKETING. I have one primary and many affiliate programs. Think about it this way: does Ford or GM or Mercedes, or Ralph Lauren, Coca Cola etc. have only 1 line of product?
No. They have their own style of product and their approach to market, but they all try to reach more than one type of customer. Most of the internet marketers lack huge number of leads and marketing knowledge in general. And that's why 97% NEVER makes it in this business.
There is a reason why top internet marketers make 5-6 figures a month.
Not everybody will necessarily like Coca Cola, some will like Pepsi...In other words they won't join my primary program, ever - but that's OK. That does not mean I can not help them create massive influx of leads and profit into their primary program and that's called monetizing your pipeline. Those who do not join you end up funding your advertising budget so you can keep marketing your primary program forever.
Another 97% figure: about 95-97% of the leads that visit your pages will never join your opportunity. They are either not serious enough about starting a business, or they are already in internet marketing business and not interested in changing the opportunity they’re in, but if they do not find the way to attract massive leads at affordable cost, they will not be able to stay in the business. So it’s a survival thing.
What I am able to offer my fellow marketers is proven tactics to accomplish their success and dreams, whether that would be through tools, tips, marketing strategies, extensive knowledge, and experience of mine as well as other superstars in the industry, or profitable, reliable business opportunity itself.
Either way, it’s a win-win for all.
To YOUR ultimate success,

Your family and friends don’t quite support your new biz?
By: PromoDonkey
Your family and friends don’t quite support your new biz? Nobody in your immediate environment offering strong encouragement?
Well if that sounds familiar, that’s because it is a reality for about 99% of us. So stop wasting you time moping about it and learn here how to conquer it instead.
We surely love our family and friends and they love us too, but with that love comes also a desire to protect us from great disappointments, loss of money, and FAILURE. Sometimes even a fear that we might do good and then that our relationships with them might in turn somehow suffer. In rare occasions, we might even have one of those in the group that actually does not want us to do any better then him/her. No matter how good and honorable or maybe even bad sometimes, those motives are, it’s interesting to note that none of those people are successful entrepreneurs themselves.
So why do we then let non-successful non-entrepreneurs shape our entrepreneurial future?
Listen to this: do you realize that Wall Street is a place where people who drive Roll Royce take the advice from guys who drive subway to work? How wrong is that???
Wrong or not, it happens every day. Here is something else that happens every day: “wanna be entrepreneurs” quit everyday because of things like this because they listen to those who are more broke and less brave than they are:
• “I tried bunch of those MLM companies and never made any money”
• “Yeah…I have tons of friends who got all messed up with the whole ‘work from home’ ideas and it was a total flop – every time
• “I tried to do that part-time from home thing one time and all my friends and family told me it wasn’t going to work, but I would not listen. I spent hundred’s of dollars on vitamins and lotions, in the end just to realize it wasn’t ever going to work”
• “My wife’s friend did that SAME thing, got all her family mad at her for bugging them, never made any money”
• Blah…blah…blah – blah…blah…blah…
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, those people did not do it right? Maybe they did not give it their all? Maybe nobody ever showed them how to do it the right way? Maybe…just maybe…- therefore they never stood the chance.
So love your family, but look for support somewhere else – for now: forums, network marketing sites, other members in your company, team calls, etc…If you’re ever short of places to look, drop me an email and I will point you towards few that you will surely enjoy and reap benefits from.
You know, this business, is not much different than any other business. Many years ago, when I was taking my real estate license class, the first thing they told us was that 95% of us in the class will NEVER succeed in real estate. The point I’m trying to make is that if it was THAT easy, and EVERYBODY knew how to do it right from the start, we would all be successful in it today and millionaires. But it’s not like that; you have to have some basic business-success ingredients in order to make it:
• You have to decide that this is a real business, not a hobby and not something you are going to TRY to do
• You have to learn HOW to do this business properly
• You have to learn to FAIL in order to succeed
• You have to want to be successful and sometimes help others WITHOUT expecting anything in return
• You have to understand that people who are broker than you and stuck in a JOB mentality should NOT be your mentors
• You have to accept that it will take TIME and EFFORT on your part before you will see results
• You don’t have to learn to like writing goals down and your business To-Do list, but you have to DO it
• You have to find new “friends” who have LIKE vision and goals
• You have to have a lot of FAITH in yourself and that what you’re doing is not an accident
We don’t think twice about accepting idea of letting our children stay in 3rd grade for more then 1 school year…why do we than accept our friends and family’s reality as our own?
Not everybody can be Mozart, or Edison, or Alexander the Great…so remember, that not anybody will have the knowledge and tenacity to make it in this business either – DO NOT let their weaknesses shape your future. It does not mean YOU cannot be that one, it just means you will have to be the one you have not ever been before. And that is a journey well worth taking. You – only that much improved! How cool is that???

Do these two things and explode your productivity
By: PromoDonkey
Do these two things and explode your productivity
Have you had a very busy day just to find at the end of the day that you did not accomplish anything concrete? Or anything you were hoping to?
The operative word is “hoping”. Working out of the house is a blessing, but it can also be a hard thing to control. It is very easy for distractions to find you in your home: the cell phone, a cat or a dog, your friends texting you, your significant other calling you…etc. No matter how dedicated you think you are, there are times when even with best hopes you don’t end up getting done things you should get done that day.
That is because the “hope” is not enough. You actually need to have a plan – and that plan is called TO DO list.
It makes a huge difference in productivity if you take few minutes at the end of the day to create a list of things to get accomplished the following day. So when the next day comes, you will not find yourself tempted to maybe do this instead, or just do this for a little bit first and then you’ll get back to so and so…It’s all laid out for you, you do #1, then #2 and so on, until the list gets done.
There are few different ways we can help ourselves stay focused and on track. One thing I found works great is shutting your email down and turning your cell phone off for 2 hour blocks at the time. Those two hours use solely for working on your tasks and every two hours or so only, check your email and voice mail for any contacts that need to be made at that time. I found it works like a charm for me and I think it will do the same for you.
Many studies have been done proving that brain is easy to concentrate for about 2 hours at the time, at which time a body goes through a low. That is the time to take a few minute break, stretch you legs, drink some water, eat a piece of fruit or some nuts and then get back to work again for another block of uninterrupted time.
If you do these two things on regular basis, you should see a great improvement in your productivity. I’m sure we can all use a boost at times.

3 top reasons people fail in online business
By: PromoDonkey
Few days ago I was on the phone with one of the greatest leaders and top earners in the industry. The topic of our conversation was top 3 reasons people fail in online business and it always seems to end up with next:
1) Faith in YOU – this requires reprogramming. Believe it or not, there are many people out there who do not believe they can create income of $10K-20K-50K-100,000 a month. They look at their parents, brothers, sisters, aunts…whatever and whoever, and they think if those people could not do it, how are they going to do it? They have what we call a “financial thermostat” broken. If you cannot see it and feel it = chances are, you won’t get there. So your attitude needs to be adjusted. Your financial thermostat has to be fixed and your thinking needs to be reprogrammed. Start reading everything you can lay your hands on on the subject of “achieving success”. You might want to start with Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, which is available on the internet for free and work your way from there.
2) Marketing System – if you think about it everything you do in life, if you want it to have results you can repeat and expect, you need to have the system. If you sell, you can’t successfully sell from the seat of your pants – you need the system. The same is with marketing. You can’t successfully market from the seat of your pants, you need the system. But imagine having a system that not only takes you step by step in your marketing endeavors, but it also, sorts and sifts through your leads bringing to you only highly qualified leads already interested in your opportunity. And those who are not interested in your opportunity still get monetized by your system. Phenomenal concept!
3) Faith in the products – a lot of people do not have a belief that the products they are selling will do what they are supposed to do. They do not have a belief in the company or their management etc…either way, if you don’t believe in what you’re selling – you will not get far. Hopefully when you signed up originally for your opportunity you did a good due diligence job. So why not do it again? Pretend like you know nothing about the company and do a thorough due diligence. Guess what, if you come up with bunch of great reasons to sell this product – just like you did when you originally joined – great, you’re on the right track. You just need to stick with the system and work your plan. If you start having doubts about the overall thing, maybe it’s time to consider joining a company with more stability, more integrity. There are “few great ones” to choose from out there…=)
The bottom line is this: if you find yourself being stuck in the rut due to one the things listed above – DO NOT despair and DO NOT quit. All this can be “fixed” and you can be on the right track to create your destiny just like you’ve been dreaming about.

What's Wrong With This Picture?
By: PromoDonkey
Mindboggling!!! Couple of weeks ago, I meet an old friend for lunch. He looks like he’s doing great. He drove up in his new $120K Benz, all sharp dressed, but than again, he’s been making $150K+ for several years now and it shows. We ate some healthy food and chatted a bit about the Wall Street, economy and old friends - all in all it was a good lunch, nonetheless, it left me in dismay.
Look at this. He trusted his “financial expert” with his investments – and now there is still quite of smoke over the ashes of his 401K, he has not had a deal go through for 2 mos., so checking account is shrinking like a cheap T-shirt…Having in mind he was like most Americans, he spent more than he earned. Today, he’s balance-sheet broke. Yeap,…broke as a joke! And it makes me deeply saddened that people today are willing to pay $120,000 to buy a new Benz (which I LOVE – don’t get me wrong, I have a thing for nice cars!!!) but not willing to spend $10K…$2K or whatever…to educate themselves and create a strong financial foundation so they don’t have to depend on financial advisers, customers, company they work for, friends, relatives etc…
Did you know that:
• 80% of the Country is Upside Down
on Debt to Equity
• Of every $100 spent by consumers,
nearly $43 is by use of credit.
• Bankruptcies have doubled in 10 years.
• For the first time in history, we are
spending $1.05 for every dollar we
make. A country cannot thrive with an
imploding middle class.
Did you also know that:
Experts predict that in the next 10 years household wealth in the North America will double, exceeding $100 Trillion, creating more Millionaires than at any point in history while destroying the middle-class.
I have only one question for you! Which group would you like to be part of????
How much you make is not what will make you rich, it’s how much you get to keep and what you do with it.
- Wouldn’t you want to know what the elite, ultra wealthy do to create, protect, and grow their wealth in good and in bad economic times?
- Have investment opportunities only “chosen ones” get to profit from?
- Would you want to NOT have to trade your time for the money?
Knowledge is power. Learn every thing you can. Learn with proper tools, resources, and mentorship how to create full prosperity in areas of wealth, health, and wisdom – and have a complete power over you life. Enjoy the abundance in life – it’s FREE with knowledge and untouchable with ignorance.

Powerful Lessons from Your Prospects
By: PromoDonkey
We have a beautiful dog named Candy. A Labrador Retriever-Boxer mix. Ever since she was a puppy she did not have to share her food with any other dog, until I got married and we moved into our new house and overnight she got a “sister”. Well, Layla is 4 times smaller than Candy but way more aggressive. So when food gets served, she’s first to the bowl and she won’t move until she’s done. Candy at first, being a lady she is, would let Layla finish food first, and she would eat what was left which wasn’t much. That lasted few times until Candy evaluated her situation and realized: if she wanted the best part of dinner, she had to get to it first. Candy just learned her lesson.
Lessons are learned everywhere we go. We humans are not much different, and sales trial closes are a great source of lessons.
Every sale closing has 4 possible outcomes:
1. YES
2. NO
3. TIO
4. LESSON
1) YES – greatest thing, collect the money, deliver the product/service and off you go to the next one – singing, all the way to the bank.
2) NO – not the greatest thing, but not that bad either. When you get a NO, at least you know not to spend any more time on the follow up with this prospect. For whatever reason, they did not qualify and it’s time to move on to prospect that is qualified.
3) Think It Over – worst thing ever!!! In my opinion, I would rather get a NO any time of the day than a TIO. Then you just don’t know where you stand! You might find yourself thinking about the deal in your bed late at night, spending the weekend worrying about the outcome…will he, won’t he…instead of enjoying that time with your family. Don’t rob yourself or your family from care-free time. Friday afternoon is not the time to accept a “call me on Monday” thing. NO, Fridays, it’s either YES or NO, and you go home to your own peace-and-quite life.
4) Lesson, my favorite after YES. Every sales situation, especially the one after you get a NO is an opportunity to learn something about sales techniques and human behavior that will help you close the next deal easier. One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is to debrief your sales calls. If you have a sales coach, mentor, sales manager, partner...any one of those will do, but don’t miss a chance to learn from your experience. Not using those opportunities to learn from and improve upon your weaknesses is like leaving money on the table – a lot of money that is.

How Ike took your sale…
By: PromoDonkey
So you’re minding your own business, the big storm comes through…(more like a hurricane cat 2) you evacuate to safety, come back 3 days later to find your house - gone. Devastating. To look at the few 2x4s as all that is left from all you had.
Not by much different for a sales person hoping and praying for that ever next sale to pay the mortgage bill or the bank will come and take it. Scary how similar it is. So you try hard, really cranking up the number of presentations you’re doing, spending more time answering all the detailed questions prospects have, just to make sure all the t’s are crossed and all the i’s are dotted…Running from one side of the town to another, answering more then one phone at the time, emailing and chatting all while doing webinar presentations, just not to miss that one prospect inquiry that would “change everything”….Truly fighting for that sale to come in, and just when the guy tells you “It sounds great, call me tomorrow AM and we’ll get going”, and you think you got one, the guy is nowhere to be found the next morning. Many follow-up calls, emails, nothing…in the sheer desperation you offer to give him the last bit of a discount you can afford to give…no answer. Devastating. Afterwards you spend time banging you head against the wall, and asking yourself where you went wrong. You had it…What happened?
Actually, unlike those really unfortunate people who lost everything they had by Ike, you never had it!
Few things to always remember:
1) you can’t lose something you never had
2) the sales is not a sale until they give you the check/CC info, AND the check/CC charge clears
3) the more you NEED the sale, the more prospect will see you as desperate and will be turned off by it
4) if you don’t get a sale, get a lesson
So 1) and 2) are pretty obvious, but how do you go about not falling into trap of looking too desperate when your livelihood almost completely depends on that prospect and what is there to learn?
Not easy, but just like everything in this business, it all depends on how bad you want it. One of the hardest things to do in sales is not getting emotionally involved. Most of the sales people fail way too early because they cannot differentiate who they are from what they do. One thing is as sure as a day: the prospects can feel it. They are like dogs. You know how a dog can sense if the person is nervous, mad, sad, happy or sick? That’s how prospects can detect if you’re desperate and needy to get that sale. They can tell by your gestures, by the body language, but the tonality you use, the words you use…trust me, it’s all over your face! So you have to do what it takes to cover it up. No matter what your situation is, how bad you need the money from the sale, what catastrophe might occur if you don’t, you have to cover it up. No other way around it. That is the time to “fake it till you make it”. Most of the successful sales people radiate with strong self-confidence, poise, self-assurance…but they were not like that from day 1.
Many scientific studies have been done on the subject but let me just bring up one to your attention. Some years back the study was done with 3 groups of people and basketball game. One group played for two weeks, every day practicing and learning. The second group did not do a thing for 2 weeks, and the third group practiced in their minds: the jumps, the hoops, the whole shebang. Guess what the results were! The second group of course, had no results, but the third group who practiced in their minds, had just as good of results as the group which was actually out there doing it. Do you know WHY? Because it’s been scientifically proven that brain cannot tell the difference between the reality and imagination. Well, then imagine!
So if that is what it takes, play a psychological game with yourself. Condition yourself for feeling the way “top dogs” do. Keep telling yourself: “I am a millionaire. I don’t need the money, I don’t need this sale. I have millionaire mindset and I don’t need your order, I can make it happen without you.”
It’s amazing what powerful affect that can have on your brain. I know it might sound a bit silly at first, but do you think anybody thought highly of Einstein or Wright brothers at first?
Come back and visit my next article on “Getting lessons” in sales.

8 Rules of Success – Part II
By: PromoDonkey
Know when to use product knowledge
In order to be a successful sales person, it is imperative that you know as much as possible about your product or service. However, it is not imperative at all that you give ALL that knowledge to the prospect, especially at the wrong time. Here is what I mean by that. Traditionally trained sales people seem to get a confidence boost when they can talk for a long time and show off their knowledge about their product or service, but many times, all that talk is exactly what talks the prospect out of buying. Talk only about the points that are of interest to your prospect. Cover only those which will help your prospect see how your product or service will help him/her get rid of their pain. And do not use the industry buzz words. A prospect will not understand you, will not be able to follow you, and many times he/she will not let you know that either. Easy way to lose a sale.
Know your competition
A point a lot of sales people out there miss. Top performers spend time attending competition’s seminars, reading their brochures, watching their DVD, listening to their CDs…in other words, learning about their strengths and weaknesses…are you? Keep in mind; your prospects are doing exactly that when trying to decide on which company to go with. If your prospect knows more than you do, it will be a tough one.
Have a prospecting system
If you have been in sales for more than 6 months and you are still making cold calls, you are doing it ALL wrong. There are people who will be proud of you for still having guts to stay in the game and keep smiling and dialing. I’m here to tell you – you’re working too hard. Remember the rule 80/20? It means that 20% of your clients are giving you your 80% of the business. Therefore; the same goes for prospecting: 80% of your time should be devoted to giving great customer service and supporting your existing clientele, and 20% of the time should be spent on prospecting. The only way you can make that 20% profitable enough is to have your existing clientele so in aw with you they will sell for you. That’s how we get referrals. Much, much easier and smarter.
Have a selling system
Yes, having your own selling system will catapult you to a whole new level. It does not really matter which system you use, just make sure you learn it, practice it and master it. So when under pressure, you can deliver EVERY TIME. No selling from the seat of your pants will ever get you where you want to be.

8 Rules of Success – Part I
By: PromoDonkey
Stay on the right side of the trouble line:
Many of us in the industry along with other salespeople out there on commission only, tend to find themselves busy - a lot. But what are they busy with? Remember, shuffling business cards from one side of the desk to another, driving around the town to meet prospects, etc – is not work. Activities like reviewing the script, or learning about your product or service is necessary but not what successful people do between 9-5. Your most productive time of the day should be reserved for prospecting and closing ONLY. The rest are non-paytime activities and should be conducted from 5-9PM – or outside of your work hours. (we online people get a bit more freedom to choose our own hours ;-) ) It is easy to fall pray to the wrong activities at the wrong time – never take your eyes off the MONEY MAKING activities.
Burn your bridges:
No, I am not telling you that you need to fire your boss tomorrow AM and the heck with the world of bills and responsibilities. But what I am telling you is that if you keep the attitude of: “I’m going to try this online gig and see what happens. If it’s not working out, I’ll just go back to working for someone else”. No, no, no, no, no…You don’t get to the second base with one foot on the first! It won’t be easy, but once you get involved in your business opportunity don’t look back and force yourself to succeed. Follow through on your commitment to your family and to yourself.
Be mentally and physically tough:
No business is an easy business and no success comes too easy. The self-employed status comes with price and the world can be cruel. You have to learn to accept NO, you have to learn to realize they are not rejecting you, they are just not a fit for what you offer. You also have to know that “Yes” is great, “No” isn’t bad – at least you know where you stand, but things like “I need to think it over” – should not have room in your sales world. They are going to give you false sense of “maybe there is a chance”, and you might find yourself spending a lot of time chasing someone who might not be interested, willing or able to purchase your product. If you’re going to get a NO, get it as fast as you can and move on. Rememeber: Some will, some won’t, so what? Next! Don’t take it personally, close the Yes’s, close the file on No’s and move on to the next one as fast as you can.
Have a support group:
As I mentioned earlier, it is tough to be in sales. Online or offline. You have to hear a lot of No’s. Not everybody is mentally tough the first day of their biz adventure. It helps tremendously to have a support group. Not necessarily people who love you, but a group of people that go through what you go through every day. Those that can truly identify with the coals you have to walk on. http://www.promodonkey.com/ is one of them. All of us in this community of fine entrepreneurs are experiencing the same thing: victories and failures. Take an advantage of being active in your support group. Find the help for yourself and help someone who is in the place you were just few days, or weeks ago.
Come back next week and learn more in Part II of 8 Rule of Success.

11 Core Truths That Made thousands of Internet Marketers Successful
By: PromoDonkey
1. Successful internet business = work. Don’t kid yourself, you will have to work. The upside of it is, it happens at your own schedule. The amount of effort put into it depends only on you, but the results are reciprocal with the effort as well.
2. You will have more time off, but don’t count on 3-4 hour working days. Successful internet marketers work a lot more then 3-4 hours a day. One of the reasons is because they love what they do and it does not seem like hard work to them. They enjoy it. On the days I work, I pull 10-12 hour days, but I love every minute of it too. Yes, you can do this part time, but don’t be surprised when you get “part-time’’ results back. It all depends on what you want out of it.
3. You don’t have to have your own product to start. There are many ways you can make money on the internet marketing someone else’s products. They will do all the inventory stuff, all the shipping stuff, all the invoicing stuff, all the customer service and return stuff…All you need to do is find the buyers. No inventory, no staff, no office rent…a heaven.
4. You don’t have to have any internet experience to start. There are millions of articles, books, DVDs, CDs, lectures, seminars, courses, webinars, coaches, mentors, and sponsors that can help you. The question is, which are you going to pick? Which will appeal to you? And which will bring you the greatest results?
5. Online profit is realistic to expect in a relatively short period of time. But do keep in mind; in general, the big success comes 3-5 years down the line. Those stories you hear about becoming an internet mogul over night in the company they just joined - they are true, BUT for those who have already conquered the learning curve of online advertising, sponsoring, coaching, and creating success in their team members. So they might become successful over night in SOME particular opportunity, but AFTER they have put in many hours of learning this business usually somewhere else. Those “details” are usually not mentioned to the public. The key is to choose the right sponsor and that does not necessarily mean the sponsor has to be successful already today. Let that sink in for a minute.
6. A successful sponsor DOES NOT = your success. There are successful sponsors who will not share it all with you. There are successful sponsors who will not have time for everybody on the team. There are successful sponsors who don’t want to work any more after a certain point. On the other hand, there are many great successful sponsors out there who would do anything to help you. Mine is like that. But that is not the case with all. There are also many new or in the process of becoming successful sponsors, who are being mentored by another great sponsor. They are eager to create mega success, and therefore might go the extra mile to make that happen in record time, AND they are willing to take you with them in the process – not a bad combination at all.
7. It’s not any different than going to a vocational school. You have to learn something you did not know before, go out there apply it; and in turn, you gain more value in the online marketplace, which with time, brings you more money.
8. Your family and your friends, unless you are VERY lucky, will be very suspicious of your future success. Chances are they will try on more than one occasion to talk you out of it; one way, or the other. They do not understand the rules of success on the internet. If they did, they’d be making money on the internet themselves. Model the successful in online business, not those who are not.
9. The less you’re involved and the more the system does it for you, the less of a value you give to your prospects. Let me elaborate on that. If the system does everything, and truthfully I have not seen a system yet that does everything, and you do not contribute to the well being and building success in others, the less a prospect needs YOU to sign up with. If the premise is that the system does it all, and you just oversee, do not contribute, and distribute knowledge and experience, then it won’t make any difference to your prospect if he/she signs up with you or the next sponsor. YOU have to make the difference to that prospect. That is the ONLY ticket to success.
10. There has to be follow up. Either you follow up with your prospects, or you pay someone to follow up with your prospects. But you leave the prospects without the contact from you; they will fall prey to another sponsor who won’t make the same mistake as you did.
11. The more you know, the more valuable to the marketplace you are. The truth holds in no matter what field you are in. The same is true for the internet marketplace. If you think you’ve learned all there is, and you’re done with reading books, listening to the CDs, watching DVDs, attending courses and seminars, you may as well pack up and go home. You either keep advancing, or you will get run over by the competition. Again, your choice.
Isn’t this just a phenomenal thing, this internet biz? You get to pick the schedule, amount of time and effort, you get to draw the start and finish line on everything you get involved with. And it’s like a snowball. Once it gets going, it’s impossible to stop it. Beautiful…just beautiful…
Happy sponsoring!

Can you dance? Or can you dance?
By: PromoDonkey
5 proven steps that will help you win the sales dance with your prospect – every time
Let me level with you:
In today’s competitive world, you absolutely must know that old selling techniques do not work any more. If you start using the Alternative Close, or the Ben Franklin Close – you will get killed in the market.
Here is why:
You are not the first person your prospect is talking to, all the other sales people are using the same old techniques, and your prospects have heard those “moves” many times over.
If they have even been in sales themselves, they attended the same seminars you did!!!...and are using same lines on their prospects. Meaning, you’re not any different to them than the next guy.
Unfortunately, there are hundreds of thousands of people out there, who firmly believe that you have to be born with sales skills, or those who believe that there is a shortcut to becoming a great sales person. They are both wrong. Successful sales people are not born, they are created. And they are not created over night at the seminars.
Every day tons of people flock to the newest seminar gurus, books, DVD’s and CD’s promising the life altering changes in your sales results after you’re done with their material. The truth is, it does not work that way.
Now, their material is helpful, but without permanent behavioral and attitude changes, without nurturing the person’s self esteem, and getting rid of garbage of preconceived ideas, none of that material will ever do you any good. The traditional sales concept is to sell by numbers. To give a talk and give as many presentations to as many people as you can and eventually somebody will buy. I’m right here to tell you that’s WRONG. There is no self-esteem in that kind of selling. Actually, it’s not selling at all. It’s clerking.
Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT have to give presentations to everybody who will listen, you don’t have to do dog and pony shows, and you surely don’t have to roll over and agree that the prospect is ALWAYS right.
But here is what you must do:
It is imperative you understand that there are always two systems at work: your system and the prospect’s system.
In the prospect’s system, the agenda is usually to get as much information from you as possible, to play their cards as close as possible – not sharing too much information with you, and negotiating the lowest possible price. There is no sales person in sight who would not appreciate the same consideration back. But that almost never happens. Here is why:
1) The prospect never tells you the WHOLE truth
2) The prospect wants to know what you know
3) The prospect gives you smoke screen objections way before they will give you the real reasons for not buying
4) The prospect does not answer the phone or return the calls/emails
After 16 years of professional selling, one thing I’m sure of is this:
If you do not have your own selling system to follow, you will default, you will give in, and the prospect’s system will prevail. Once it does, and again, it will, you will lose all control of the selling situation and will be on the mercy of your prospect. Like, having to follow up, maybe more than a time or two, maybe having to drop the price, offer more for the same or lower price, or you may never be able to create a contact any more.
So what can you do? For one, have your own system that gives you the control of this dance.
Here are the 5 proven steps that will help you win the sales dance – every time:
1) You must uncover the prospect’s “pain”. People make decisions intellectually, but they buy emotionally. The strongest emotional triggers are pleasure and pain. Pain being the stronger one. If you can uncover the prospect’s true pain, you’re half way there. An interesting thing to point out is that sometime, the prospect has no pain and will continue to do what they’ve always done. No matter what your price is. In this step it is important that you take more information than you give. The most successful sales professionals talk 20%of time in this step and allow the prospect to talk 80% of time. Only that way you will get to the real pain. Remember, the prospect’s system is all about him getting all the free information from you in this stage, so it’s imperative to know how to keep control in your favor with proper questioning techniques.
2) Step 2 really defines who you are as the sales person. Too many of them out there are afraid to bring up the money issue. Hey, if there is an issue, it’s better to find out now, than after you’ve done the entire presentation and wasted your time. This is a very important step where you find out if the prospect has the money available, and if that money is available for what you’re selling.
3) Here you must find out how the prospect goes about making a decision of this type, and who else besides the prospect is going to be a part of that decision making progress. Do they need to sleep on it, pray over it, consult with the CPA, attorney?... etc. Ultimately, can the prospect make the decision to give the money to get rid of the pain?
Did you catch that we’re almost done with the process and the presentation has not taken place yet?
5) Presentation Step. Now, many traditionally schooled sales people would say this is the step where you spill all your benefits and features of your product or service. NO – it is not. This is the step where you talk ONLY about solutions you have directly associated with the pain your prospect is wanting to get rid of. Not more, not less.
6) Yes, you do need to post sell. How many times have you had a prospect who you thought was a “done deal” just to find out at the last minute he/she had a change of heart. Or have you ever had a prospect calling you the next day asking how he can get his money back? Chances are the competition won’t stop pursuing your prospects just because you think you have a deal in the bag. And some time, the prospects just plainly talk themselves out it for one reason or another. Don’t miss the post-sell. It will save headaches and let you keep more money in your pocket in the end.
Happy selling!

Rich vs Wealthy
By: PromoDonkey
Do you know what the difference is between Making a Ton of Money and Being Wealthy? What about the phenomenon why so many who win the lottery still end up broke a year later?
The difference is in knowing how to make money work for you, instead of you working for money. Let me explain.
I have many very well off friends who make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, live in gorgeous homes, drive incredible V8 and V12 machines, own boats more expensive then most American homes, Yet, they are not wealthy. HOW COME, you might wonder? Well that’s because they are Income Statement Affluent who bring in a lot of money, but they have to go get that money – EVERY DAY. And if today, they had to satisfy all their debts, they would have no money left. Unlike the truly wealthy, which can pay all their debts at any given time and not even flinch because they have accumulated more wealth then they really need and/or use – that is called Balance Sheet Affluent according to Thomas J. Stanley PhD who wrote several NY best-sellers on the subject.
Hello. Welcome to my website. My name is Aleksandra. In my opinion, today’s society lacks fundamental understanding of a strong financial foundation and how to create it. My deeply rooted passions for being Balance Sheet Wealthy have brought me into this business of Financial Education. We specialize in helping people who want to design their own life by creating lasting wealth and those who desire an opportunity to mentor others into creating lasting wealth as well. My question to you is which group do you belong to?
Market research shows that people today join businesses primarily based on the mentors themselves, due to their leadership abilities, teaching techniques, tools, and resources available from that mentor. They also say that the company itself, products, and compensation plan are secondary. With me, you will have an exclusive access to all of those in one package. Did you also know that in all the different types of careers in this country, being self-employed has the highest probability of financial independence? According to government statistics, those who are self-employed have about 5 times as much accumulated wealth vs. those who work for someone else.
If you see yourself as being a different breed, wanting freedom from chasing income on a daily basis, if you want to achieve a satisfaction with your life and control your own destiny, then you need to fill out the form below and come and join us. It means you are unique, you are a leader, and the world is in a great need of many more.

Franchise vs. Network Marketing
By: PromoDonkey
Top 6 Reasons Why I prefer Network Marketing over Franchise Opportunity.
Before I go into the 6 reasons why I pick Network Marketing Opportunities over Franchises – every time, let me share with you next. I come from 3 generations of self-employed. I was privileged to a complete a personal and confidential insight into many different businesses, franchise and non. From the opportunity research, to market research, to due diligence. I also evaluated businesses as a business broker in my early days. Needles to say, I think I know a thing or two about owning a good business. Having said that, let’s talk about the bad and the ugly of Franchise Opportunities:
Lease: most of the franchise opportunities out there will require you to have a space according to their specs, which in most cases is a leased, retail space. This investment is one of the biggest and major investments you will make, besides your inventory and we will discuss that in a minute. To get the best rates on your lease you will usually have to sign a 3-5-year lease, and it will consist of the base rent and the shared rent. The shared rent is made up of utilities, and maintenance of the common areas in the building. So what you agree on as rent amount is only part of it.
Network Marketing – no lease requirements. You move, your biz moves…no big deal, all you really need is WIFI and a cell phone. Your bedroom, your office, your backyard pool, sandy beach, snowy mountains, gulf course…it will all work.
Space/Construction/Equipment: the space itself, fixtures, and equipment in it are required to match the specs laid out by the franchisor. When they deem it needs to upgrade, you have no choice but to make an additional investment and upgrade. They choose the design, the colors, the set up, the fixtures and so on, even if you have a better, more efficient, or more economical idea. The amount of the investment in your space is therefore, dictated by them, not you. And you will NOT get it back if you get out of the game too early.
Network Marketing – no retail space or special equipment required. These days everybody owns a computer. If you want to get fancy, get a wireless network card and take your work places.
Inventory: one of my biggest pet-peeves is inventory. A ton of money invested in something that sits on the shelves while you hope and pray the customers come and buy it. Even though, on an average it takes 3-6 mos. before things start somewhat moving and shaking, a lot of franchisors will require you to keep buying inventory through that period.
Network Marketing – no inventory requirements. It’s all online and shipped from the home office directly to them.
Marketing Cost: if I’ve heard it one time, I’ve heard it a thousand times. When franchisees start negotiating for their marketing, they are often told by those companies, that they have seen people with the same company come and go and they do not have the marketing plan detailed correctly; therefore, they need to really spend a lot more than what their home office suggests. Many times that is true, if you did not do good due diligence and did not pick the company who has it right. But you are under tremendous pressure to make the franchise fees/royalties to the home office, and you don’t have much room for “testing” the market on your own. You have to bet it all on red or black. Feeling lucky yet?
Network Marketing – no spending amount required. You call the shots.
Staff: My other biggest pet-peeve. Most of the new franchisees pick the wrong type of staff or tend to overpay them. And here is the kicker, when they don’t show up for work, and you are not overstaffed, YOU have to go do the work yourself. Believe it or not, I had people not show up to pick up their paychecks. I kid you not. I’ve seen it all.
Network Marketing – no staff required. You decide how big you get, and you do not depend on ANYONE but yourself.
The choice is clear: less upfront investment, less liability, and by far a lot more independence. Network Marketing is sweeping the entrepreneurial playground. Come and play “Millionaires” with us.

Attraction Sponsoring PART II
By: PromoDonkey
Attraction Sponsoring
Its best secret – A Better Way To Build the Rapport
PART II
Now, let’s analyze each.
Physiology –
If another person is in front of you and let’s say they have their hands crossed, one might think that they are not open to your ideas. Not necessarily. Maybe they are just more comfortable like that. Maybe their hand hurts. Lot of maybes…but don’t waste your time and energy trying to decipher it. MIRROR it, instead. If they sit with their legs crossed, you cross your legs; if they are all casual and leaning back in their chair, you lean back, and so on. Don’t appear as a copycat, but try to mirror the best you can in a very casual manner. The unconscious signal to their brain is: “I’m just like you – we already have things in common”.
Tonality –
This is especially important for people who do a lot of their sales over the phone and don’t have a chance for face to face interaction. The tonality and words are all they have. Some people are full of energy, speaking with a strong loud voice, and use a lot of different voice levels to express themselves. If that is you and your prospect tends to speak softly, this is where you will have to slow down and tame your natural energy. Try to use a pitch close to your prospects’, watch for the speed of your words, and leave pauses often between the words and sentences.
Every person has his/her own personal dictionary of words and phrases they use. Make a note of some of those and “sprinkle” your conversation with them. One more way to send the signal: “I’m just like you.”
Verbal –
Tons of people spend tons of time and tons of money on improving their verbal skills, yet those skills only account for 7% of rapport. In many instances, we tend to go into a broad description and explanation of our business, but to some people that is complete gibberish. Why is that? All of us interpret our environments in our own way, through our senses. These senses act like filters. This is how the prospects intake your information. But not all use their filters in the same way. Prospects are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.
You can try to talk to a visual prospect till you turn blue in the face, but it won’t get you far since he has to SEE things in order to completely register them. These are the people that use a lot of: “I see…Does that seem…?” and so on.
Auditory has to hear things before they can make a decision. (perfect candidates for your Network Marketing Opportunity Calls with your Sponsor). They say things like: “Did I hear you right? Sounds great!”...etc.
Kinesthetic need to touch and/or feel things. Your kinesthetic prospects really know how it “feels”. “That makes me feel great…Feels like a right thing to do…” are things you will hear them say.
Before you can even begin to efficiently build rapport with your prospect and future team members, you need to study them as the conversation unravels. But keep in mind, you don’t have much time. The first impressions are made very quickly. LISTEN to your prospect and he will tell you how he wants to be sold. It’s one of the most powerful tools one can have in sales. Speaking the prospect’s language will give you a ticket into his world and that will be one of your best kept secrets in limitless sponsoring.

Attraction Sponsoring PART I
By: PromoDonkey
Attraction Sponsoring
Its best secret – A Better Way To Build the Rapport
PART I
“Rapport” comes from the French rapporter (“to bring back”). English dictionary explains it as: A relationship of mutual trust and respect.
Sounds great in theory, but how do YOU get there???
In your quest to build a great business, online or offline, you will cross your path with prospects of many different cultures, many different human traits, and many different ways to attract them to your business.
These days even the newbie to sales understands that to build a profitable relationship with a prospect, one looks for commonalities to bring up and ask questions about. The reality is that chances are, you are not the first person they are talking to about starting a business. How many times do you think they have been asked by a “salesperson” about their interest in golf, 1967 Chevy they have been rebuilding in their garage, or the new granddaughter they were recently blessed with? I am not arguing that those do not help build rapport, but the prospect anticipates them. They are old, and outdated.
Now, there is a better way to establish rapport – based on the scientific study of neurolinguistic programming or NLP. Much research has been done, the studies show that almost
55% of rapport with another human comes from physiology – your body language. 38% of rapport comes from tonality – your voice and how you say things
ONLY 7% comes form spoken words – or verbally and what you say
If you were ever scared, uncomfortable, or worried about what to say and if you could lose a sale because of what you say – knowing these ratios might help you relax while in front of your prospect. Remember, they can sense if you’re uptight, even if they can’t see you.
